Diary Workbench
Read coding-agent diaries next to an inventory of the code they built, write views over them in JavaScript, and test those views on databases made to break them; the bundled example is the public go-go-golems/geppetto repository with its 167 implementation diaries.
In early access for subscribers until 22 November 2026. Subscribe to run it now.
Subscribe →Diary Workbench reads the diaries coding agents keep while they work, next to an inventory of the code they built: packages, modules, commands, database tables, docs, diagrams and the facts the diaries record. The bundled example is the public go-go-golems/geppetto repository, a Go library for LLM inference: its 167 implementation diaries (1,154 entries, December 2025 to August 2026) with its 92 packages, 507 modules, imports and ticket docs, built from the repository with emails, addresses, secrets and the users' quoted prompts removed.
- Read the run. An overview with a lane per diary, a diary reader with every step as a document and the names it mentions linked to their pages, and a review queue of every step that asked for a second pair of eyes.
- Browse the inventory. 31 built-in pages: packages, modules, commands, facts with their evidence line, a service graph of imports, a module treemap, activity and coverage lenses, hotspots and the Mermaid diagrams from the ticket docs.
- Write views in JavaScript. Every page is a view script you can open in Build mode, edit and preview live, with Explain, IR, Data and Checks tabs and errors that name their line.
- Test on databases that break views. 22 test databases made from dataset scripts: empty, mid-run in a month you pick, hostile text, clock skew, broken references, a 400-package monorepo. Their situations are invented on purpose; the bundled database is not.
- Ask the agent. A chat rail that queries the database with the same API, points at things on the page and proposes views or review verdicts. It needs the hosted runtime; everything else works in the downloaded file.
Includes 111 worked examples (views, datasets, documents, agent calls and deliberate mistakes). To load your own diaries, write them into a SQLite file with the schema the app shows (docs("schema")), attach it in Build mode's Data tab and open it with a dataset script, as example DB-23 does. Uses sql.js, acorn and mermaid from jsDelivr (MIT); example data from go-go-golems/geppetto.
