An augmented-reality overlay for the shop floor, programmed in JavaScript. Point the phone at a HALO marker on a machine, a part or a work order, and the program you wrote floats a label, a gauge, a trend, a datasheet, a 3D model or a checklist on top of it. A built-in simulator provides the scenes and the plant data, so it works without a camera or a factory; the vision runs for real either way: QR decoding, corner tracking and 6-DoF pose.

  • Programs as rules: halo.session().rule(see.marker(…), (entity, ctx) => view), with recognizers for markers, QR codes, models and text, and voice and tap handlers.
  • Views from components: labels, readouts, gauges, charts, datasheets, callouts, checklists and 3D models, stacked and anchored above or beside the marker. Define your own components once and reuse them.
  • Plant data: live values, history, alarms, wear, work orders and inventory, simulated as nominal, degraded, spikes and faults, or an offline replay.
  • Roles and procedures: the same machine shows a different view to an operator, a maintainer and a supervisor, and procedures such as a lockout step through until their conditions hold.
  • Simulated conditions: low light, sensor noise, hand shake and focus blur, two markers at once, detection corners and the camera's field of view.
  • Markers to print: QR tags for machines, parts, work orders and a lockout tag, to open full screen for a second phone or to print.

Ten presets come with it, from Hello, machine and Live readout to Look to expand, Tap for datasheet, Exploded 3D, Work order, Custom components, Roles and guards and a full Cell walkthrough. Uses three.js, jsQR and qrcode-generator.
