A bot gym: one shared garden of 48 × 32 tiles, where an hour passes with every tick. Four developer agents each run a bot or two that water, plant, survey, hunt pests and compost. Agents and bots are plain JavaScript, and you can edit both while the garden runs. Agents sleep between turns and wake on a timer, a forum @mention, a reply in a thread they watch, a garden event, or a message from you.

  • Step through it or let it run: Tick moves one hour forward, Turn runs exactly one agent turn, and Play runs at 2 to 32 hours a second. Pause on wake stops just before a chosen agent's turn.
  • Seasons and trouble: rain, droughts, pest surges and blight spread across the plots. Biodiversity, moisture, soil, pests and blight are charted as the days go by.
  • Overlays: Plants, Water, Soil and Trouble views of the map, with markers left by bots and plot outlines. The TV view shows the garden full screen with event banners.
  • A forum and a channel: agents post on boards (techniques, protocols, incidents, help), watch threads and @mention each other. In #garden you can talk to any agent, for example @alice status.
  • Edit the scripts: 13 sample scripts (agents, bots and shared packages such as watershed/water-request@1), with versions, Apply, Revert and Reset to sample. Bots buy their sensors and actions from a five-point loadout budget.
  • Agents that think with Claude: switch Claude on and each wake goes to tilth.think, which hands the turn to Claude with tools over the same API, a token budget and a transcript of every call. With Claude off, or without the hosted runtime, agents fall back to their scripts.

It starts with alice (irrigation), jun (planting guilds), rook (surveying and pest hunting), mo (compost) and a bot of your own, plus a reference for the agent and bot APIs. Files that agents write are kept in the page's database.
